Tuition Schedule

Although it’s now late in the school-year, our enrollment is  increasing and we anticipate that we will be full for our 2012-2013 school year. I also wanted to remind all families of children who are five years old that our program goes up to Kindergarten.  

2012-2013 contracts are due April 15, 2012 along with deposits and F.A.C.T.S. forms.  I have included a tuition and deposit outline. Careful consideration has been given to tuition for 2012-13 school year. It is SHM's top priority to balance  the   dual   needs of retaining and attracting the very best teachers and administration staff while keeping tuition as affordable as possible. Tuition schedules for 2012-2013 are as follows:

The deposit is non refundable. It is a portion of the tuition and holds your child's slot at the school.  Although most activities and materials are included in the tuition minor class donations and small event fees are a part of school culture.

Since the stability of our school and quality of its programs are of the utmost importance, we are always seeking ways to make improvements to benefit everyone.  We have contracted with FACTS Management company to help us manage our tuition program.  FACTS is used by over 5,000 schools nationally, including many schools locally (St. Anns, Broooklyn Friends, Bishop Kearny High School, Brooklyn Free School, Brooklyn Waldorf School, St. Savior High School).  We are excited to be working with them and are confident this program will lead to greater financial stability for the school.  We have adopted the following tuition payment policy for the next school year.  Families can pay their tuition bill in one way:

• Full Payment tuition by July 1, 2012. this payment should be made directly to the school and entitles you to a $500 tuition discount.

• 11 automatic monthly payments through the FACTS Payment Plan.  Payments will start September 2012 and are due the 1st of the month.  There is a $43 per  year, per family charge for using this option.

• Please note that we no longer offer monthly invoice payments. 

• You will authorize automatic bank payments directly from your bank account for your monthly tuition bill.  Please be assured that neither FACTS  nor the school will have direct access to or any knowledge about the status of your bank account . It is simply a pre-authorized bank-to-bank transfer of funds.

• Tuition can also be paid with pre-authorized credit card payments

• To assure that all F.A.C.T.S. forms  and contracts are filled out properly you must sign contracts and fill out F.A.C.T.S. forms in the office.
